Imagine… if there was no gravity,
Our feet would not be earthly.
We’d all be flying without wings.
There would be so many nice things.
We’d have no cars,buses & trains.
And there’d be no pollution, only rains.
We could go to Greece, or Japan, or both,
And return, without tickets for back & forth.
We could climb trees without effort,
And wouldn’t need any elevators.
High-rise scrapers would spring up everywhere,
And we’d just “fly” to the top of Eiffel.
The Everest would no more seem a barrier,
As climbing it would become so much easier.
On second thoughts, would it be flying too?
Would rivers, oceans and mountains stay on earth,
Or would they find their way up, up and up.
If houses, schools & offices, all started flying,
Where would we live, study and work?
And then, would cities be called what they are named,
When they kept wandering from place to place?
Now I know, if there was no gravity,
The world would be Enid Blyton’s Enchanted City !
