A page out of my life
I think, and I think…
What was it that touched me then?
Was it papa’s gesture or mama’s commitment?
Was it the trip to Eden, or the journey to reach it?
And I think,
How green was this place I call Eden?
Greener than the greenest grass,
Clearer than the most transparent dew drop?
How vivid are its memories?
The view from a peak’s edge, just divine.
Or a cruise among trees galore!!
Nothing more sacred could I ever find.
The lap of nature is a bed of roses,
One without thorns, a gift full of smiles.
And I think, and I feel, and I wish…
All that could happen again, encore!
