I speak not, of love between lovers
For it’s been talked about for eons and ages
What I see from here is something higher
The love a mother showers upon her toddler.
The smile so pretty, that she gives times many
A single touch motherly, seems sweeter than honey.
It assures the child of arms always wide open,
To cuddle up in, fear comes when.
She takes away all pains, good or vain
And sees to it that her child smiles again.
She wipes his tears with, neither hand not cloth.
Her words alone, an assuring lot.
Whether the child is ten or as old as thirty
But for a mother, he’s always her kiddie
She conveys to the child, in moment every,
That her love’s always there – eternity.
